Getting there
Plenty of placed in Pukekohe for off leash walking - some can't be shown on here as the streets aren't there - at the end of Cloverlea Place, off Sunset Drive, Possum Bourne Reserve on Paerata Rd, Ernie's Reserve on Reynolds Rd, Hickies Reserve near Seddon St on Paerata Rd, Reserve behind Lough Bourne Dr (walkways are around No 13 or it can be accessed off Butchers Rd at the top of the street but not that easy to find)

Description
Rooseville is a bush area with lots of paths through it (and rabbits) which is great in the summer as it is always cool.
The showgrounds are good because they are fenced - just stay away from stock.
Cloverlea/Sunset - not fenced but a big open space for the dogs to run and safe from traffic.
Ernie's Reserve has a pond with ducks, pukekos, etc but be aware of children feeding ducks and for the road.
Hickies Reserve can be followed from Paerata Rd to the Pukekohe North School - OK once you're away from Paerata Rd.
Bledisloe Park (opp Pak 'n' Save on Queen St) often has sports games and there is a children's playground but pick your time and it's a nice big area.
I'm not 100% sure that Colin Lawrie Field - Reynolds Rd - is off leash but no one seems to mind the dogs playing.
Lough Bourne Dr & Possum Bourne Park - the park is on the main Paerata Rd and has 2 ponds. Access either from Lough Bourne Dr or Paerata Rd.
If you go up Lough Bourne Drive around No 13 is a walkway down to a big reserve with a pond and you can walk up the other side and along Butcher Road, coming back along Paerata Rd.
